artist statement (jan 2019)

My creative drive owes much to my own curiosity and boredom, so I'm always interested in how art and story could inspire one to initiate and, by doing so, discover the joy of participating.

Abstract is an aesthetic value I hold dearly.

I'm most moved by works that examine the human experience and help us grow wiser. I believe in a place's art being an important and timely witness of the place.
