3d

 

3d is not my strongest suit, but it's an intriguing machine to play around with. I'm most interested in anything procedural, as well as 2d-3d hybrid stylisation. I haven't touched Maya in forever though. Tools get more and more advanced as the days go by.

Created as a backdrop for Botticelli’s Venus: The Life and Times of a Goddess at MGM Art Space, the piece aims to provide visitors an immersive experience of the age of Florentine Renaissance.

 

The final print is 4m tall and 12m wide, with the sky projected on top.
